Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the central nervous system.

MS affects more than 2 million people worldwide.

MS patients have a 50% chance of developing depression. Depression in MS patients not like typical MDD - there is usually less neurovegetative symptoms. If there is a family history of MDD, there is an 80% chance of developing depression in MS.
