Genetic Disorders
Primer
Genetic Disorders (also called Genetic Diseases and Syndromes) are conditions caused by an abnormality in an individual's DNA. These abnormalities can be as little as a single-base mutation, all the way to single gene defects, multi-gene defects, teratogenic problems, or chromosomal abnormalities. Many genetic conditions can cause significant neuropsychiatric disorders and symptoms.
